So Its been a while but I've been having lots of fun...
To update you:
Week One Aug 25-27 school everyday
Week Two approx. Aug 28- Sept. 4 Field Trip #1 Stradbroke Island
consisted of 3 days of Terrestrial Ecology, 3 days of Marine Ecology and 1 day of Australian Culture.
We hit up the beach, talked to Aboriginals and I got some really nice infected warrior wounds...I like to go with the story that I was attacked by a koala, but really I scratched a mosquito bite too hard and backed up onto some razor clams lol.
PART 1 Terrestrial Ecology:
This place is called the Sand Blow...well, for obvious reasons. Lots of sand!! For reference, that little dot on the right of the other two dots is my professor!
A little bugger friend on a Scribbly Gum Eucalyptus Tree
My tutor's (or TA's) bug collection...or 1/6 of it to be correct.
My TA's Stick Bug

Part 3: MY BIRTHDAY!!!
Still On Straddie...I got a cake for tea time :)
Birthday BBQ! This is my home stay dad on the grill...
After the BBQ we went to an Australian Football League (AFL) Game
It was so much fun!!!
